Kingdom of The Most High God

  • God’s Kind of Love

Acts (not feelings) in the best interest of the other person. If we would but LOVE God and the people, God's will would be done. "For this is the message ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another" (1 John 3:11, KJV) as Jesus has loved us (John 13:34). One of the great acts of love we can offer you is knowledge of your Savior, a gift from The Most High God (John 3:16). . . .
  • “The Other Side of Death” CD Project

We are on a mission to distribute 100 of these CD’s per month about life on The Other Side of Death. If you have been one of those who have received this CD, we would love to hear from you. We began a very limited distribution in Charlotte, NC in September 2008. On our next visit to that city in the spring, we hope to multiply our distribution many folds. We expect to begin distribution in Houston by December 1st, in the vicinity of FM 1960 and Veterans Memorial. Our hope is that Jesus will use this CD to reach our target audience – the unchurched and the unbeliever. We would love to hear about its impact or lack of impact on your life or the lives of your family and friends. So be generous and share it with them, won’t you?

Are you losing hope?

Posted by Rev Mac on March 28, 2008

Have you lost hope already? As you look at the rest of today, are you feeling like you don’t care if you live to see tomorrow or not? No. You’re not thinking about suicide. But if you died today, that would be OK. You wish it would all just go away? If you could only have some peace. As you ponder your next move, there is only a blur, an emptiness, a blank space out front. Yet you can find hope, if you know where to look.

You haven’t been feeling well all week, not physically, but emotionally. You don’t know just when it all started. But this past week, it has pounced on you like an angry bear! And it won’t let go. You have tried to drink it away or drug it away, or sex it away, or sleep it away. But nothing, and I mean nothing, you have done has put even a single dent in it. As a matter of fact, everything you have done seems to make matters worst. Oh! It helps for a short while. But when it wears off, or when it is over, you are an even worst emotional wreck than before.

Now it is two o’clock in the morning. You can’t sleep. There’s no one to call. No one you want to call. So you ask the “Why” questions of yourself: Why is this happening to me? Why is my life such a mess? Why can’t I find some peace? You consider your best friend. “She’s happy. You never hear her complaining!” You look at your buddy. “He’s always smiling, cheerful, Mr. Happy-go-lucky. Why can’t I be like that? Oh God!!”

What did you say? Whose name did you just call? God? But why? Why did you even say that name? Do you know anything about Him? Is this just a common term you use in your disgust? Or do you think there may be a God out there somewhere and it would be nice to hear from Him about now?

Scripture tells us that GOD IS LOVE. If He is love, how can He do anything but love us? And the love of God was made known to us in that God sent His only begotten Son into the world that we might live through Him. Think about that for a moment. God loves YOU so much, that He became a man so He could remove the curse and entice you to seek Him. And for what reason does He want you to seek Him? Is it that He might want to pour His love into your life as well? Yes for that reason! God loves you with a love you have never even thought about, never even knew existed, let alone experienced. And right now, He is waiting for you to come to the end of your rope, to the realization that nothing in this world can alleviate, dispel, your sorrow. If you would only admit you’re hopeless. You need His help. Your only hope is in Him!

Jesus, the Son of God, is wooing you right now. He is saying to you right now, “Come unto Me you who are burden and heavy laden, and I will give you rest. I will give you peace.” You already know nothing else you have tried has worked. And now there is a voice in your head screaming that this God thing is silly, its foolishness! Don’t listen to it. It’s the voice of the deceiver. His number one objective is to keep you from God. It is the deceiver who keeps telling you to try this and try that, anything but “Try God”. Don’t listen to that voice.

There is another voice, a still, quiet voice saying, “I am the way, I am the truth, I am the life”. But you may not hear Him until you become still, and quiet, and expectant. Listen to this voice. Ask Jesus to come into your heart, to give you peace, to give you a new hope. “If you are real Jesus, be real to me!” “If you are real, please be real to me!! Yes. It may sound silly. But what have you to lose? Don’t think about anything else. Just say the words out loud and expect Him to act. See also Four Steps To God.

The Lord bless you, and keep you: The Lord make His face shine upon you, and be gracious unto you: The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace.
